Maintenance and storage yoga mat It is recommended that you always bend it from the outside outwards - so that the yoga mat does not bend. After practicing yoga, when the yoga mat is wet and damp from sweat or water, be sure to dry the mat before wrapping it. Spread the rug on the floor or hang it to dry completely, then roll it up. It is recommended to use a mixture of 50/50 water and apple cider vinegar. Even better if you use a natural rubber yoga mat cleaner. Then you have to dry it well.
