Traffic Management
The DMS-107 offers traffic management features like IEEE 802.1p Quality of Service (QoS) and IEEE 802.3x Flow Control that provide a more reliable connection for all your devices. The 802.1p QoS feature classifies the traffic into 8 levels and prioritizes them by their importance. Flow Control will temporarily stop data transmission when the switch’s input buffer is full, helping to minimize dropped packets.
Green Technology
D-Link is always striving to be as Eco-friendly as possible. The DMS-107 switch features green technology, like IEEE 802.3az Energy-Efficient Ethernet (EEE) and link status detection. Both work together to save energy and costs. When network utilization is low, Energy-Efficient Ethernet can efficiently reduce the switch's power consumption, bringing down energy consumption. On top of this, power-saving mode automatically powers down the ports when no link is detected.
