I have designed a charging station for Xiaomi
I have designed a charging station for Xiaomi's new generation of Smartbands, the Mi Band 8. This design is made specifically for this model, as the shape of its charger is square, unlike previous versions where it was cylindrical in shape. To use it, the bands must be removed, as the hole in the DOC allows the capsule to enter with a snug fit. The charger plug is entered from the back and fits perfectly, with the exact protrusion to be able to make contact and magnetize to the capsule. For printing, the supports must be activated, especially for the protrusion where the magazine enters. It is not necessary to print it to any specific layer height, as the tolerances have a large margin. The zipped file also includes the model separately, if you prefer to print without supports. Just arrange the support version at 45°, so that the lower rear corners of the model are in contact with the printer bed. For added safety, it is recommended to use rafts.
